Summit Softball Clinic- Moved to Feb. 8th

SUMMIT HIGH – SOFTBALL CLINIC

NEW DATE IS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 8TH: K – 8th grade

In this 3-hour clinic, athletes will work in small groups to improve fundamentals and increase their knowledge of the game just in time for the upcoming Spring season! Campers will be working on throwing, fielding, hitting, bunting, baserunning, the mental game and will even participate in a little Spartan-style workout! Participants will be split into groups based on age and ability.

The clinic will be led by the Summit High School Coaching Staff with assistance from the current team! Coach Stevenson, Coach Jordan, and Coach Edwards have a lot of experience in both high school and college level softball as Coach Stevenson played D1 softball at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and is in her 20th year coaching, Coach Jordan played D1 softball at Murray State and Coach Edwards is in her 13th year of coaching high school softball while she played basketball at Maryville College! Come learn from coaches who know what it takes to play at the next level!

 LOCATION: Summit High School* (2830 Austin’s Way)

*Clinic will could be held on the softball field or in the gyms – depending on the weather. Please bring cleats and tennis shoes so that you are prepared to go indoors or outdoors!

TIME: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

COST: $60 – SHIRT INCLUDED and you can wear your shirt for FREE entry to all HOME regular season Summit softball games. *SIGN UP BY 1/13 to guarantee a shirt*

WHO: Kindergarten – 8th grade

TO BRING:  *tennis shoes  *cleats (optional) *tennis shoes  *glove   *bat   *helmet (optional)  *water
