Jeremy Bawcom
SWA Baseball President
A resident of Middle Tennessee since 1977, my wife (Heather) and I moved to Spring Hill in 2009 where we are raising our three boys (Matthew, Parker, and James). My passion for baseball began in 1987 when I first started to play organized baseball. My interest in baseball continued beyond playing as I began to collect baseball cards, memorabilia, autographs, and attend minor league baseball games in numerous cities throughout the United States. As my baseball playing days ended, my passion for the game continued.
That passion led me to South Williamson Baseball in 2020 when I became a 6U head coach for the first time, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve been fortunate to work with a great league, group of coaches, parents, and players since my first team in 2020. I take pride in the fact that we have fostered great relationships with our families as we prepare the players for baseball and beyond. I talk about things like attitude, effort, good sportsmanship, being a good teammate, and having fun as cornerstones of how we prepare our players both on and off the field. In addition to coaching, I have been active in the league to advance the baseball program within our community.
I am a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association. I graduated from the University of Alabama, and I work as a Senior Accountant for a top 50 nationally ranked property management company. In addition to serving as President of South Williamson Baseball, I serve on the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital NICU Family Advisory Council along with my wife.
Landon Budge
SWA Baseball Vice President
Baseball has been a part of my life since I was an eight year-old kid living in Marietta, GA watching the Braves and playing Little League. In eighth grade I left East Cobb Baseball and moved with my family to Tokyo, Japan where I played four years of high school baseball at The American School in Japan. Since then I have coached teams at the elementary school, middle school and high school level, including the past several seasons at SWA.
My wife Becky and I moved to Spring Hill in 2020 with our five children, three of whom have played in SWA Baseball or Softball so far. I’ve been blessed with fantastic players, assistant coaches and parents on all of my teams, and I am excited to do my part to ensure that the SWA Baseball experience continues to improve season after season.
I completed a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Brigham Young University, began my career in management consulting, and later earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. I am currently Director of Operational Analytics at Asurion, a device protection and technology company based in Nashville. During the summer months I am also a proud member of the Franklin Pirates adult baseball team - my playing days aren’t over yet!
